One could certainly say I have had a passion for the law for quite some time — I decided to become an attorney when I was just eight years old. That early dream became a lifelong commitment to helping families through some of life’s most challenging moments.

I grew up in the Upstate of South Carolina but headed up the mountain to Western Carolina University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Law and a minor in Criminal Justice. From there, my dream took me west for law school at the University of Tulsa College of Law.

I began my career as an attorney with the Florida Department of Children and Families, where I gained valuable experience advocating for the best interests of children and families. But it only took a few years in the Sunshine State to make me realize how much I missed the seasons and sense of home that the Carolinas held. I first served as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem after returning to North Carolina. Moving into private practice, I have continued to work hard to guide clients with empathy and honesty yet advocating for them with a drive that demonstrates confidence and clarity in achieving their goals. To further support the many families in high-conflict custody situations, I obtained a certification as a Parenting Coordinator.

As a mom of four, I understand firsthand the challenges and emotions that come with family life. That perspective gives me invaluable insight into many of the challenges my clients face. I am patient and compassionate—qualities that help me support clients through the stressful moments of family law matters.

Family law is more than just my area of practice—it’s my calling. At the heart of my work is a genuine desire to help families find stability and peace during times of uncertainty. I believe every client deserves to feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout the legal process. Whether navigating divorce, custody, support, or property division, my goal is to guide clients toward resolutions for their families that will help them move forward with confidence.
